【摘要】:ThispartofEN14662isinaccordancewiththegenericmethodologyselectedasthebasisoftheEuropeanUnionforthedeterminationofbenzeneinambientair[1]forthepurposeofcomparisonofmeasurementresultswithlimitvalueswithaone-yearreferenceperiod.ThispartofEN14662givesgeneralguidanceforthesamplingandanalysisofbenzeneinair,bydiffusivesampling,solventdesorptionandcapillarygaschromatography.ThispartofEN14662isvalidforthemeasurementofbenzeneinaconcentrationrangeofapproximately0,5ug/mto50ug/minanairsampletypicallycollectedoveraperiodofseveraldaysorseveralweeks.Anumberofdevicesarerecommendedforthesamplingofbenzene,eachdevicehavingadifferentrangeofapplicability,particularlywithregardtotheoptimumperiodofexposure.Theupperlimitoftheusefulrangeissetbythesorptivecapacityoftheactivatedcharcoaland,subjecttodilutionoftheanalysedsolution,bythelineardynamicrangeofthegaschromatographcolumnanddetectororbythesamplesplittingcapabilityoftheanalyticalinstrumentationused.Thelowerlimitoftheusefulrangedependsonthenoiselevelofthedetectorandonblanklevelsofbenzeneand/orinterferingartefactsonthesamplingdevicesorinthecarbondisulphide.Alternativesorbentstoactivatedcharcoalmaybeusedprovidedthattheequivalenceinperformancecharacteristicsoftheprocedureisdemonstrated.Alternativedesorptionsolventstocarbondisulphidemaybeusedprovidedthattheequivalenceinperformancecharacteristicsoftheprocedureisdemonstrated.
